Dangle colorful beads from chain for a striking necklace
Anne Nikolai Kloss
Serendipitous color combinations often inspire my jewelry designs. I have found that keeping beads - both recent purchases and leftover beads from other projects - on my work surface allows me to experiment easily with color and shape combinations. Sometimes this is just a good exercise when
I'm stumped on a piece. Other times, the beads inspire a new creation. For this necklace, you need to collect a group of beads with an interesting contrast of shapes and a pleasing combination of colors. The necklace is a great way to showcase orphan beads, and the chain adds swing to the dangles. Make this necklace adjustable in length by using an open-link chain.
