In the Spring of 2009, Frank Scott finally saw the Grand Canyon for the first time. He was always fascinated by the canyon - it's geologic history and grandeur Standing on the rim, he quickly realized that he never "got it" from pictures and historical accounts.
The vistas were etched in his mind, and he created this bead to capture some of the color and scale of the canyon. From the sandy banks of the Colorado running at the bottom to the red rim stretching across the horizon, he sees the rhythms and colors vibrate in a majestic sweep. Frank hopes you enjoy sharing his vision of the Grand Canyon. Overall dimensions 1 ¾” high by ¾” wide.
